It appears she has taken a break from everything after a contentious legal battle with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp (@johnnydepp), in court over a defamation issue. Her most recent Instagram post informed the world that she has opted to settle the defamation case launched against her by her ex-husband.

According to the most recent People Magazine story, Amber Heard has been residing in Spain under a pseudonym with her child/baby since her defamation trial was completed in June 2022. According to another source connected to ET Online, she has been living in Europe with her daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard, since her trial with Johnny Depp. She believes she has more privacy and is more comfortable while she is abroad. Meanwhile, she began dating famed artist and photographer Tasya Van Ree (@tasyavanree) in 2008. She was dating him at the time she publicly announced her bisexuality at GLAAD's 25th anniversary in 2010. This was her first contentious relationship when she was arrested on September 14, 2009, for reportedly grabbing and striking Ree in the arm at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Even though the prosecutor decided not to pursue the case, Heard's arrest for misdemeanor and domestic assault made national headlines. Likely, Amber then began dating art dealer Vito Schnabel (@vitomschnabel) in May 2018. However, after less than a year of dating, the two broke up. A source told US Weekly that Heard and Schnabel divorced due to "long distance."
Furthermore, Amber Heard also made news for dating cinematographer Bianca Butti (@biancabutti) after they were photographed kissing outside a hotel in Palm Springs, California, in January 2020. Butti also scheduled multiple court appearances for Johnny Depp's defamation case against Heard in 2020 during their relationship. However, their bond could only last so long.
