Joining the Hype House and opening for the Jonas Brothers were just the icings on the cake. And now, she's finally gotten to eat the entire cake at once.
Charli D'Amelio Cried When She Met JLo and Even Forgot the Dance Moves While Dancing alongside Her
There was no boundary to the happiness Charli D'Amelio felt when she was told that she was hand-requested by Jennifer Lopez to dance with her for the JLo SuperBowl Challenge. She's been doing everything she can to get a chance to meet and recalled the two times she only got to "see" her onstage.
"A couple of years ago, I decided that my dream is to dance with JLo. She was on top of my dream-board and I've talked about her in almost every interview I've done, whenever they ask what my biggest dreams are and she is super talented," she told ET before the Superbowl LIV night (after already dancing with JLo). "I got to see her in concert. I actually got to see her twice because the first time was when the power went out in New York City."
JLo had to hug her for 10-12 seconds to console her.

She explained how she was obsessed with the JLo dream from a long time ago and had planned to go to The University of Las Vegas and join their dance team. [That dream-board thing was super-serious, more in the video below.]
"And my dream was to go to The University of Las Vegas, be on their dance team because their choreographers are JLo's choreographers," she continued. "... I had everything planned out, and yesterday I got to meet them and dance with her for the first time, so it was really a dream come true."
On the first time meeting Lopez, the 15-year-old stated, "When I first met her, and I got to shake her hand, I was just blank-faced. I didn't know what to say. And then, it kind of set in, and tears just started rolling down my eyes 'cause this is all I ever really, really wanted to experience, and it happened, and it was really, really crazy."
When it came to dance, like any other fan meeting their idol, she too started crumbling down for the first moments. Not in a dramatic fashion by the way. She totally forgot the first dance routine but slowly started to set in the groove & synchronize. But still, bits of nervousness were clearly seen in some of her missteps.

Nevertheless, JLo embraced her after the dance ended and tried to calm her down by hugging D'Amelio as tightly as she can to console her. D'Amelio shared a clip of the after-dance moment with JLo on her Instagram Stories section (screenshot shown above). JLo also shared the clip of the two dancing alongside each other on TikTok to her paltry [in comparison to D'Amelio's] 852k followers.

Meanwhile, she hasn't been able to stop wearing the hoodie that reads JLo on the front. Check her latest three TikTok videos, and you'll know what we're talking about (okay, her sister wore the hoodie in one of them, but you too were confused who was who at first).
The TikTok celebrity was involved in the SuperBowl in one other way. She featured in a commercial for Sabra [the Instagram clip shared above]. There were several internet stars featured in the video as she showed off her dance moves. And Zach King [net worth: $3.5 million] did that funny illusion-magic again.
Is She Ready to Spread Her Wings and Move on from TikTok?
While there may have been a negative side for some spoiled kids using TikTok (or so that some people choose to believe), Charli D'Amelio is definitely not one of them. While people may try to bring her down, her follower-count won't stop increasing.
The last time we wrote about Charli (the net worth piece), she had 19.2 million followers on TikTok. At the time of writing this piece, she has 22.8 million followers. That's 3.6 million more followers in just the two weeks since then.
