It's been over a year that Gavin Magnus broke into the scene, although he did try a lot of times in the past. He really wanted to be a content creator and started out with puppet shows. But when the music video for Crushin' hit, especially after associating with ex-girlfriend Piper Rockelle [net worth: $2.7 million], that became a turning point in his career. Now, a million views every video is easy pickings.
Magnus is not just a YouTuber, he's a music artist & actor as he covers songs from prominent music stars, and also dished out on an album in the works with Ludacris in June 2019, which is yet to arrive. These days (after the sour split from Rockelle), he makes prank videos with his squad, that resound the one that Rockelle makes. Plus, he's recently started a podcast as well. The Goat Room, it's called.

The squad includes girlfriend Coco Quinn, Sarah Dorothy Little, Corrine Joy, Stefan Benz, Aidan Prince, Enzo Lopez, Eien Kobayashi, Elliana Walmsley, Nicolette Durazzo, Mikey Tua (who once dated Danielle Cohn [net worth: $2 million]), Solomon Berg and brother Jakob Magnus. He also includes mom, naming her Mamma Magnus, into his group. He calls it the GOAT Fam, & it has changed its form again & again.
Background, Family & TV Shows: 'Magnutizers' Was One of His Earliest Projects on YouTube
With a birthday on March 26, 2007, Gavin Magnus is from Yorba Linda, California, with two older siblings, Jakob and Justin. His mother is Theresa Magnus, and he has a dog named Zoey, a pug like Rockelle's. He loves skateboarding, mountain biking and overall music while also taking an interest in gymnastics. His favorite artist was Juice WRLD, (yeah, he's leaning into the hip hop genre).

Working with Ludacris might be giving him the tag of "the Next Just Bieber," but he's been at it since the age of eight/nine in 2016. And there were a lot of things he'd already done before joining Piper's former band. But he's been a victim of bullying in his public school, for which he's been trying to suppress it, participating in a social media anti-bullying campaign called the #CYBERBYTE Challenge.
Magnus started his eponymous YouTube channel in August 2016 and immediately started posting videos after looking up to his role models like Logan Paul [net worth: $19 million], Super Mario Logan, and David Dobrik [net worth: $7 million] since he was eight. His first project was with a variety of plush dolls in home movies enacting oddball scenarios & parodies of SML, who parodies the original Super Mario Bros. He was doing it to fulfill his own fun, without caring for followers & fans. But that just came with his content.

At the same time, Gavin and his mother created their own web series, Magnutizers, with the same theme as the other videos, featuring the adventures of him and his puppet friends. He left behind those days somewhere along the way as he became a game vlogger in the middle. By the end of 2017, he was already appearing in Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon series, like that Massive Monster Mayhem thing. Also, he was in the Dreamworks TV series When Sports Collide.
He's since been in a few TV series for a cameo, one-episode appearances, like Hollywood Darlings, Minor Renovations (both as himself), Reckless Juliets [two episodes] and Unusual Suspects [2017]. He's also got a project lined up, the treasure-hunting show, Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate's Cove in the post-production stage.
There's No Sign of the Debut Album, & the Music Video Ft. Piper Is Not His First for ' Crushin' '
"The Next Justin Bieber". We'll have to wait for that one. Anyway, while Gavin Magnus was just starting to cover songs from other artists, he became an official member of Rock Your Hair squad in March 2018. In May 2018, he released the cover song for Alex & Sierra's Little Do You Know in May that year, with an amateur music video, since it was his first. He sang to Drake once before.

Did you know he released the song, Crushin', a long time before he joined Piper and her former group? Yeah, it was July 2018 that he released the song on YouTube, titling it Crushin (Official Music Video), and was available on Spotify since that month. Yeah, at the same time, he also toured with Boys of Summer 2018.
He released the OFFICIAL official music video with Piper Rockelle in February 2019, a little after a month after she tagged him as her crush in one of her videos in January 2019 (and so did he, on the exact same day). Sophie Fergi [net worth: $200,000] also made it into the intro of the video. It became an instant hit and now has over 22 million views.

The digital talent network and entertainment studio Collab had already established a relationship with Magnus in October 2018, and after Crushin' was a hit, he signed with Capitol Records. He later made cover songs of Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes later on (more below). Other prominent ones include Justin Bieber's Boyfriend & Mistletoe, Tyga's Taste and Ali Gatie's It's You, with cover videos of them all.
In June 2019, during an interview with PopCulture, he revealed that he had a "big project with Ludacris" coming up that would be "freaking cool". Many thought he was working on a new album as he'd signed with Capitol Records already. But there hasn't been any release thus far.

Magnus' YouTube following was blowing up since January 2019. And by September 2019, he was beginning to be listed in the richest kids list, with Ryan Kaji on top and Magnus' net worth being tagged to $530,000. But in between, something unsavory had happened in his relationship life. According to him, Rockelle's mom allegedly taunted him with her anxiety attacks. The full details in the link mentioned above.
In late July 2019, Gavin announced Pavin was over as then was looking for a new girlfriend. He later cleared up what happened in a November 2019 video. Since the breakup, Connor Cain & Symonne Harrison started appearing in his video as Brian Hartwig continued being his videographer and editor. He's also associated with JoJo Siwa [net worth: $15 million] attending her 15th birthday party in May 2018.

That former group also dissolved somewhere on the way, as it was just him, Brian and Coco in the SPYING On My CRUSH video in December 2019. He's also made another The Truth video to tell something about Connor's presence in his earlier videos. He's also releasing a video talking about why Brian recently left the group.
Speaking of Coco Quinn, in an early August 2019 video, Gavin Magnus introduced her as his crush and consequently his girlfriend in his later videos. And then, the new couple made the cover music video of Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's Señorita in late August, which fans went crazy for again. It has over 38.5 million views at the time of writing. It was a significant month as the record deal with Capitol Records came after the breakup from Piper, & he also signed with his manager, Andrew Balogh.
Even through April, people wanted Pavin back, but Cavin is the one right now.

With people coming and leaving the group, the two made more music videos of their cover songs together. Ali Gatie's It's You has over 6.5 million views, Ed Sheeran & Khalid's Beautiful People has over 7.2 million views, Justin Bieber's Mistletoe has over 3.5 million views and Dan + Shay & Justin Bieber's 10,000 Hours has almost 3 million views, most of them in 2020.
In between, Gavin's new song, Catching Feelings, was released, the music video for which has over 5 million views, and of course, Coco & friends are present in it. It was exactly one year after the release of Crushin' on Valentine's Day (touchwood!).

The relationship is going pretty well for the two despite The GOAT Fam changing its form at different times. She became the first guest of his new podcast series, The Goat Room Podcast. Of course, the prank-type videos are the most common of his posts, and none of them have hindered their relationship so far.
